Для генов, увеличивающихся в количестве при нефтяном загрязнении, максимальные значения характерны для образцов с низким (группы alkIII и GN-PAH) или высоким (группа alkII) содержанием нефти. Максимальное количество генов групп alkII, GN-PAH и GP-PAH отмечено на 30-е сутки, генов алкан-монооксигеназ группы alkIII - на 60-е сутки после нефтяного загрязнения.
Взаимосвязи между количеством генов, отвечающих за деструкцию углеводородов, и типом почв не выявлено.
