James Bulger, a blond man grew up in South Boston. Bulger started his criminal career early in life by robbing banks in Massachusetts. He was first convicted of bank robbery and sentenced to imprisonment in Alcatraz, but he obtained an early release.
When he was released from prison, he shortly became the leader of a gang of criminals known as the Winter Hill Gang and later Jimmy Bulger built a drug trafficking organization.
Bulger has been suspected in about 13 murders. The FBI has increased the reward to one million dollars.
