Abstract. The modern Russian economy cannot develop effectively without attracting investment, therefore, the formation of a good investment climate is one of the most important strategic objectives of each region. In this article the questions of investment attractiveness of the Voronezh region were defined, major planned for implementation up to 2020 investment projects were classified, the structure of investments in fixed capital according to the latest statistics were analyzed.
