ASSESSMENT OF PRIORITY PROPERTIES OF CLAY RAW
MATERIALS FOR PRODUCTION OF CERAMIC BRICK

The main means of product quality management in the construction industry is the state standardization. The main attention is paid to the development of standards not only for materials and products that are the final products of the industry, but also for raw materials, semifinished products, testing methods and quality assessment. Clay is used as the main raw material for the production of ceramic bricks. Despite the fact that clay is a fairly common breed of sedimentary origin, the quality of clay raw materials does not always meet the requirements of manufacturers. The subject of the study is the method of determining the competitiveness of clay raw materials for the production of ordinary ceramic bricks for a particular enterprise. The scientific novelty of the work consists in determining the effective source of raw materials by solving a complex multi-criteria problem with a variety of interrelated criteria. This article discusses the branch of production of ordinary ceramic bricks, as a possible source of clay raw materials contains the following fields: Verkhnyaya Khava, Terbuny, White Well Road. For enterprises producing ceramic products, it is crucial to choose such a source of natural raw materials, which is able to ensure the production of high-quality raw materials at the lowest cost for the development of non-exploited deposits and the minimum cost of transportation of raw materials from the place of localization of the source to the point of processing. The choice of an effective source of raw materials is a complex multi-criteria task, the solution of which depends on the action of a set of interrelated criteria. In this work, the research on the ranking characteristics of clay raw materials and the main characteristics of ordinary ceramic brick. The practical value lies in the algorithm for calculating the effective source of raw materials for any enterprises producing ceramic products. The reliability of the results obtained is ensured by the use of scientifically based methods, probabilistic and statistical methods of processing the results; the use of certified laboratory equipment; the comparability of the results with previous studies of other authors.
