3.2 Семантический анализ англоязычного сегмента Твиттера

В данном параграфе эмпирический материал анализируется согласно классификации Е.Г. Бахтеевой. Всего был отобран 321 твит в англоязычном сегменте выборки для дальнейшего анализа. Качества, маркирующие женщину-политика, разделены по двум критериям.

1. На основании феминно-маскулинного критерия были отобраны те твиты, в которых пользователи выделяют и оценивают определенные качества, соотнося их с гендерной принадлежностью.

· В группу «женские качества» (107 твитов; 33,3%) вошли записи как с положительной, так и с отрицательной коннотацией:

- внутренние качества женщины политика, которые пользователи Твиттера называют типичными (38 твитов; 11,84%). К числу типично женских качеств с положительной коннотацией блогеры относят доброту, заботу, сочувствие, дружелюбие; с отрицательной коннотацией - зависть, внутреннюю слабость. Например: As a woman, as a female politician, Christ, as a decent, warm-hearted human being, the prospect of President Trump appals me; It is disappointing as a Woman Deputy Speaker,she disrespects another woman parliamentarian with a typical woman jealousy ,#Shame и др. Такое качество, как излишняя эмоциональность, преимущественно обладает негативной коннотацией: Because a woman president would have been soooooooo emotional и др.;
